Frostbite Pass Frostbite Pass is located at the peak of Mt. Ironwill, temperatures dropping to far below freezing. Almost everything is covered in ice and snow, making a fall off the pass, so cloaked in snow and mist as to hinder sight, more than a little likely. |

Glacierside City Glacierside City is located at the end of the pass, the city built into the side of a glacier. Mostly Eskimos and the adventurous live here, and the city is home to an ice-type gym. Some parts of the city are dangerous, as the ice has melted to form pools of freezing water under very thin ice. Sub-board: Glacierside Gym |

Reed River Reed River is found at the side of the glacier in which the city was built. It is extremely wide, and the only way down the mountain, other than flying. However, because of the freezing waters at the beginning, along with the extreme depth and width of the river, the only way to traverse it is by renting a raft or riding on the back of a Pokemon. |

Hollowlog Swamp The river empties out into Hollowlog Swamp, which is actually below sea level. Since it is a Swamp, rather than a lake, the water from the river must empty out somewhere, but that place has yet to be found. Some areas of the swamp are sink holes, and if one were to fall into one, without help it would be unlikely that they would be able to get out. |

Palient Town Palient Town is on slightly higher ground that the swamp, keeping it quite dry, but the humidity of the swamp still makes its way into town. The ancient buildings and artifacts found throughout the town are a hint to the age of this place. The Gym leader specializes in fossil Pokemon, and if one searched hard enough they could find many fossils in the ground and rocks of the town. Sub-board: Palient Gym |

Thunder Valley Thunder Valley is once again below sea level, stone stairs, which unlike those on Sol Ridge, were carved with the work of Humans and Pokemon, lead from the town into this valley. Though it is at such a low altitude, iron deposits in the soil draw lightning from miles around. |

Generator City Generator City, located at the top of Thunder Valley, provides electricity to all of Aryll. The city gathers electricity that strikes the valley, as well as from the help of the many electric-types in the area. No gym is located here, but it is still a worthwhile stop, and even a necessary one, on a traveler's journey. |

Psychosis Rock Psychosis Rock is yet another mountain, named so for the feeling of zen it provides, as well as the many psychic Pokemon residing there. It is a difficult climb, but some chemical in the air provides a natural high, people with low tolerance seeming quite drunk. Thus, the climb is hardly noticed, despite its difficulty. People who spend too long here will actually experience symptoms of psychosis-- visions and lack of connection with reality, for example-- and sometimes never leave the mountain. |

Dragonspine Ridge Dragonspine Ridge is located at the top of the mountain, much more treacherous to traverse than the other ridges in Aryll. This is made even more dangerous due to the dragon-types known to live in the area. Many powerful dragons have been spotted here, and are not known for their tolerance of trespassers. As the last leg on a traveler's journey, it is certainly more than difficult enough. |

Mythicscale City Mythicscale City, the location of the final gym, stands at the end of the ridge. It is a city of epic proportions, sparkling brilliantly. It is said to be made entirely of diamond, and this is not a hard rumor to believe with its crystalline beauty. The gym leader's Pokemon preference is unknown, as none who have fought him have ever told, though whispers of legends float around the city. Sub-board: Mythicscale Gym |
