Laokia has hundreds of custom images that are used throughout the Roleplay. These include, but are not limited to, fakemon, Demon, Angel, Shadow, Marine, Egg, and Twilight Sprites. It can be a bit hard finding the sprite you need sometimes- especially if the sprite has not been made yet. This is why we've got this sprite resource available for all members and staff to use. To make things even simpler, there is an easy code that will automatically be changed into the link to the Laokia Photobucket to help post images without remembering the entire URL.

Retrieving Sprites

You can find the sprites you need in one of two methods. The first is to go directly to the Laokia Photobucket. The second is to use one of the censor codes below to retrieve a large portion of the URL for you.

Photobucket-
All of the sprites used for Laokia are eventually uploaded to the Laokia Photobucket account. While some of the spriters will upload newer sprites to their personal photobuckets- it is recommended that you use the Laokia Photobucket image URL for most sprites. Admins can upload to this bucket, so contact them if sprites need uploaded.

The Sprite Resource-
Lists of completed sprites that are made special for Laokia, such as the special status (angel, demon, etc) sprites, will be posted in this thread. If unsure whether a sprite has been made or not, check here. If a sprite is needed, post in the sprite request thread in the mod center!

The Code-
To make posting up images from the Laokian photobucket easier, we have added a simple code to the censor list that will change to a portion of the Photobucket URL. There are a number of different codes that can be used for the different folders- all that you need to do is add the name of the Pokemon followed by .png after the code- it should automatically change to the IMG URL when you post. For more information about the code, look below.


The Codes

To quickly post a link to the Laokia Photobucket, all you have to do is type in one of the following codes followed by the name of the Pokemon you wish to link to and .png. Capital letters are never used in the codes, keep it all lowercase. The codes follow a simple pattern- they all start with 'pb' followed by the folder name you wish to access- so pb*eggs (without the *) would create a link to the egg folder. Add pokemonnamehere.png - and you've got a link to an image. Don't forget to put the link in image (img) tags!

Simple enough, yes? Here is a list of all the codes in case you forget! Don't forget to remove the * in each code! The codes will only take effect once the thread/reply is actually posted, so you won't be able to see the images in the preview unless you go back and edit the post.

These sprite resources were edited and compiled to a standard format for use on or in relation to Laokia. Sprites made for Laokia should follow the format of these files; recolors and edits should be made using the sprites within the file to keep the sprite positioning uniform.
