class -- ( ICE HORSE POKEMON ) type -- ( ICE ) egg group -- ( FAIRY ) gender -- ( BOTH ) height -- ( 5' 3" ) weight -- ( 230 lbs ) habitat -- ( COLD PLACES ) pokédex entry ¬ Cryolassius have earned the title frost sirens as they are known to lure in unsuspecting passerbys and freeze them in blocks of ice. | description ¬ These pokemon have a variety of beautiful, attracting moves that will lure in trainers and pokemon, such as sweet scent and charm, so that they can freeze them into blocks of ice. This has gained them their nickname, frost sirens. Cryolassius, like most horses, live in herds. Cryolassius herds have a very consistent number- it is always 12, although in some cases, less. Should the group exceed the number twelve, some of the members will be either chased off or killed. These ice horses seem to have some sort of strange religion, and twelve is their sacred number. Speaking of which.... Cryolassius are a very violent, sadistic race of pokemon. They make sacrifices, freeze others for their own enjoyment, hold tournaments much like the Romans would, consisting of battles to the death, normally pitting a low-ranked herd member against a wild pokemon they captured- or one of their own kind... The males are normally put into these fights. Scientists have observed a very strict life in these herds; disobey a rule or order, they get shunned, driven off, or executed. The leader decides who does what, who mates with who, who gets driven off, and how tight the line is. Rebels are considered a disgrace. When captured and tamed, Cryolassius can be very pleasant, although have a very wild-card nature. After full trust is gained, it is said that these pokemon can even bring their trainers good fortune; although, treat them in an ill manner, and they will bring bad luck. Most male Cryolassius enjoy being with a trainer, while females are more agressive toward humans. In a word, females are 'above human treatment' and are the rulers of the world in their opinions, while the male Cryolassius are the mistreated servants that try to escape the herd. On a final note- Cryolassius have high defense due to the icy armor on their legs, bellies, and chests.
