appearance ¬ Rakutsu is a little on the short side standing at 5'3 and weights 130 pounds. He has fair white skin and has a good body build from his life of training. He has short black hair that can grow out to reach pass his back. But he likes to keep it cut short. He has ruby red eyes. He has a glare that is regularly is normal look and because of it is why people think he is angery most of the time. His expression is normally hard to read. Rakutsu switched between a series of clothing. But he is mostly seen wearing two different sets of clothes. His first is a white hat that most people think is his normal hair with a short sleeve red and black jacket. With this he wears blue jeans and red shoes. The second is a button-up white shirt kept partially buttoned with a plain gray hoodie and a black leather jacket with a red tribal design on the back. | personality ¬ Rakutsu is a serious young man who can come off as a smart ass as sometimes and even depressed. But, he doesn't like to show what he is feeling most of the time and is mainly a quiet person rather having his actions speak for him. He likes to show that he can be a good person to turn to for help and does his best to make a good impression on others. He's the guy you will see holding the door for everyone he sees coming in. If he is involved in bad situations he might blame himself for not being able to do anything. Rakutsu holds a strong love for all pokemon no matter what the type or species it is. Therefore, he treats them as equals and not pets or slaves. He is shown to have a discomfort of people mentioning his height. In response, he normal barks that he is fun sized or "it doesn't matter". Rakutsu holds a sense of justice and a desire to become part of the law. This trait is seen in his mom's side if the family since his grandfather is a retired police captain. Rakutsu general forgets things that don't interest him even if they are important to remember. This is why he carries a notepad around so that he won't forget. |

Rakutsu Hayasa or otherwise known as Rakutsu Yuki was born in the eastern part of Orre. The two of them lived with his mother's grandfather who owned a ranch and farm. The locating ring a few short miles outs Phenac City. His mom, Maya Hayasa moved to Orre from Kanto after her husband left her before Rakutsu was born. Heart broken Maya wanted to cut ties with her pass life. This was done by moving in with her father in Orre. Her father, Shuji Hayasa was a retire elite trainer and was currently a rancher and breeder. He was known for giving hard hits and being a normal type master.
Maya wouldn't get a job because her father's farm helped them with money. But she would still help him around the farm while leaving Rakutsu in the care of Shuji's Kangaskhan. When Rakutsu was old enough he was able go to the pre-gym in the nearby town of Phenac to learn about pokemon and battling. He was a good student and a decent battler who had a stragedy of all out attacks. After getting older he would start prefering a mix of attack and defense. A more balance way to battle.
He also helped around the ranch and farm which would lead befriending all the pokemon there. The same was said for the trainer school which surpised even the teacher. His intelligents and good relationship with the teacher made him a easy target for the bullies of the class. He found himself constantly picked on and beaten up day after day. This was until he met a old man who saved him from another beating. Out of pity he would teach him how to fight and defend himself. Instead of making quick lessons with Rakutsu the old man grew attached to him and was fond of his company. This lead to him furthering his teachings and showed him how to develop his aura to use like other aura users.
Rakutsu would leave Orre to after gathering any money he can get without a clear destination. He ended the teachings of his older friend, but learned enough to hold his own.

Inside a pokemon center, Rakutsu was sitting on a bed inside a room provided to him by the nurse like so many trainer like him. However, he didn't look as happy and cheerful as he normally did. He actually had a nervous look on his face as the sweat rolled down his face like there was no tomorrow. It was weird that he would be like this after getting up from a good night's rest.
The reason for this was that he on the phone with his mom explaining what happened yesterday and how he met Yumi. He could have left it all out. He could have just told her that he trained hard and nothing happened. But she would have found out sooner or later. She was a caring mom after all and knowing what her child was hiding was her thing. Don't lie to parents kids. It's not a good thing.
His mom stood silent after he finished his story to her. She didn't look pissed or happy about it. She just had a neutral expression on her face as she took it all in. Was she about to yell at him or something?
"You didn't try to contact her parents or bring her to a officer?" She asked in a stern mom voice as if she was talking to him like he was in trouble.
"I tried, but she didn't know her mom's number and when I did the officer thing she freaked out." He explained trying to keep calm and not look intimidated. She understood the first part, but the last bit both confused and surpised her.
"Freaked out?" She didn't quite understand what he meant that and was very confused by the statement.
"Ya. The minute she saw them, she screamed and ran off. I ran after her for twenty minutes to calm her down. Still don't know what that was about." Now she knew this situation was strange. But it was too early to jump to conclusions.
"Well then it's good your taking the time to get her back home. Did she have a bag of things?" She asked now going into full blown mom mode.
"Ya. But there wasn't a lot of stuff in it. Mostly junk food and books. Oh and some clothes, but they seem worn out and dirty." He explained too her as he heard a few hums to herself before answering.
"That's not good. In that case you need to get her brand new clothes. Socks, underwear, and maybe a pair of shoes too. Why don't you get her a hat or jacket while your at it as well and maybe..." Before she can contiune, Rakutsu stopped her mid sentence.
"Whoa! Slow down mom! I'm just bringing her home not having her move in with us back at Orre." Although it would make sense to get her some new clothes. She can't wear those same shorts and t-shirt the entire time they were traveling. Besides what kind of guy would he be if he didn't do that for her.
"I know I'm just saying that it would be a good idea to get her some new clothes seeing how the ones she have on her are no good."
"You are right about that. I'm gonna go get ready so we can head out to do that shopping and grab a bite."
"Ok then love you. Oh and may sure she doesn't stay up pass ten and to make sure she doesn't eat too much junk and.." She trailed off into mom mode again which annoyed the crap of out Rakutsu.
"GOING NOW." He yelled before hanging up on her before even realizing it. This made him freeze up in place and only staired at his phone before even letting out a few words.
"Oh crap."
