Rules for Advertising
1) Anyone is Welcome
Anyone may advertise here, so long as they follow the rules. This means that both guests and members may advertise. There are no requirements for advertising aside from these rules.
2) Appropriate Content
All advertisements MUST be appropriate for viewing by all ages. This does not mean that your forum has to be, but if your forum is not appropriate for everyone, you must put a rating warning in your ad. It is preferable if this warning is placed in both the ad title and within the ad itself. Just be courteous to others and give them fair warning!
3) Ad must be somewhat relevant
Basically the site you are advertising must be at least somewhat relevant to this site. This can mean that it is a roleplay, that it is about Pokemon, that it is a forum, or something similar. This is pretty simple and relaxed and it should be obvious if a site is completely irrelevant.
4) Neatness
Your ad does not have to be super beautiful, have tons of coding, or anything like that. However, your ad should be neat. This mostly means that it should not have broken code. If your ad is not neat, then you must be okay with the code being fixed by our staff. Your ad will not be changed, only the broken coding will be fixed, nothing else will be messed with. If you are not okay with this, then don't post your ad- sorry, but we have the right to have tidy content on our forum. (Plus there's the whole OCD issue.)
5) Fix/Delete Requests
You may of course request that your ad be deleted or for something to be fixed/added. You can do this in your ad or in our shoutbox, whichever you prefer. We don't mind! If you make a mistake in an ad, you may post a new one and request the original be deleted.
6) Multi-Posting & Bumping
Anyone may post as many ads as they wish for different sites/forums (that they are allowed to advertise for- this would usually be the staff/admin of that site). Ads can also be combined into one thread if preferred. Advertisements may be bumped whenever there is reason to do so; basically, if they fall to the second page (or later) or fall low on the first page. Obviously, bumping for no reason will probably get your ad deleted due to annoyance.
7) Open Advertisements (Optional)
This is not actually a requirement. However, we would appreciate having the option to post an advertisement of our own on your site. We understand that not everyone will be okay with this, for various reasons, and we do not mind. Our advertisements are open, and if yours are not that is fine, no worries.
